​

Justice Court handles criminal jurisdiction for misdemeanor offenses not exceeding $1000 or 1 year incarceration, civil cases for amounts up to $12,000, small claims valued up to $7,000, Fish & Game statutes, concurrent jurisdiction with the District Court for misdemeanors, examining courts for preliminary hearings, landlord/tenant disputes, temporary restraining orders, traffic citations, and other matters.

Small Claims filing fee = $30
