Solid Waste includes garbage, rubbish, refuse, ashes, construction and demolition waste, dead animals, including offal, discarded home and industrial appliances, and wood products or wood by-products and other materials. Pondera County is part of The North Montana Joint Refuse Disposal District (Choteau, Conrad, Valier, Brady, and Dupuyer roll-off sites). The licensed landfill is located on the Valier Highway.
